Scope and acceptance

These terms cover randompokemongenerator.art, its generator, and its information pages. By using the site, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the site.

Our Privacy Policy explains how the site handles technical data, PokéAPI requests, clipboard use, and support email.

What the service provides

Random Pokémon Generator is a free browser-based picker. It can generate one, three, or six Pokémon. You can filter the pool by generation, type, category, ability, and base stat total.

The site also supports locks, rerolls, Shiny artwork, hidden names, and a basic team summary. It does not modify games or ROMs, create new Pokémon, or check a team against game or tournament rules.

Using generated results

You may use a result for a personal challenge, team idea, drawing prompt, guessing game, stream, video, or another lawful purpose. You are responsible for how you use and present the result.

A generated selection does not give you rights to Pokémon names, characters, artwork, or trademarks. Review the applicable rules before you use Pokémon material in commercial work, public content, contests, or other services.

Randomness, data, and accuracy

The tool builds a candidate pool from your filters. It shuffles the pool in your browser and loads matching records from PokéAPI. Restrictive filters, missing records, API errors, or network failures can affect the results. We do not guarantee the same chance for each eligible Pokémon on every attempt.

PokéAPI supplies names, types, abilities, base stats, and artwork references. Its data may be incomplete, outdated, or organized differently from a specific game. Check the current game or competition rules when accuracy matters.

Generation does not mean game availability. The team summary is not a competitive rating. Shiny mode changes the displayed artwork and does not reproduce in-game encounter odds.

Acceptable use

Use the site lawfully and without interfering with other visitors or the services that supply its data.

• Do not attack, overload, probe, or bypass the site or its security controls.
• Do not send malicious code or use automated requests at a rate that disrupts the site or PokéAPI.
• Do not mirror, resell, or present the site, its interface, or its content as your own service.
• Do not use the site branding to claim an official Pokémon partnership or endorsement.
• Do not use the site for fraud, harassment, infringement, or other unlawful activity.

Intellectual property and fan-project status

Pokémon names, characters, artwork, and related trademarks belong to their respective rights holders. This site is an independent fan-made utility. Nintendo, Creatures, Game Freak, and The Pokémon Company do not operate, sponsor, or endorse it.

PokéAPI is a separate community project with its own terms and licenses. We or our licensors own the site design, code, branding, and original text. You may link to the site. You may not copy substantial parts of it or remove its branding without permission.

Third-party services and links

The generator uses PokéAPI and the PokeAPI sprites repository on GitHub. Each service manages its own data, availability, security, and policies. Changes or outages may affect the generator.

The site may link to other websites for reference. We do not control their content, products, or practices. When you use an external site, its terms and policies apply.

Availability and changes to the service

The site is free and has no service-level agreement. We may fix errors, change filters, set reasonable limits, remove features, suspend access, or end the service. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or permanent storage of results.

We may restrict access to protect the site, visitors, or third parties. We may also respond to misuse, security concerns, or legal requirements.

Disclaimers and liability

The site and its results are available “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that the service will be error-free, secure, complete, or suitable for a specific game, competition, or device. Review each result before relying on it.

Where the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss caused by using the site or being unable to use it. This clause does not limit consumer rights or responsibilities that the law does not allow us to exclude.

Changes to these terms and contact

We may update these terms when the site, its providers, or applicable requirements change. We will publish the new version here and update the date above. New terms take effect when published unless we state a later date.
