Random Pokémon Generator
Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data the site handles when you use the generator, load Pokémon data, copy a result, or contact us.
Scope
This policy covers randompokemongenerator.art, its generator, its information pages, and messages sent to our support email.
Other websites have their own privacy practices. Review their policies when you visit them.
Generator data and browser state
The generator keeps your filters, locked Pokémon, and current results in the open page. It does not create an account or save this state in an application database. Refreshing or closing the page clears the state.
The site code does not use cookies, localStorage, or sessionStorage to save results or preferences.
PokéAPI and artwork requests
The generator requests Pokémon names, types, abilities, stats, and related data from PokéAPI. The request may identify the generation, type, ability, or Pokémon record you selected. PokéAPI may receive your IP address, browser details, request time, and standard request data.
Pokémon artwork comes from the PokeAPI sprites repository on GitHub. PokéAPI and GitHub manage their own logs and retention. Read the PokéAPI website and GitHub Privacy Statement for details.
Clipboard use
The Copy Names button asks your browser to write the generated Pokémon names to your clipboard. The site does not read other clipboard contents.
Your browser may block clipboard access or ask for permission. Browser settings control that behavior.
Hosting, cookies, analytics, and advertising
Hosting and network providers may process request data to deliver and protect the site. This data may include your IP address, browser and device type, requested URL, and referring page. It may also include request times and security or error records.
The site does not use analytics, advertising networks, tracking pixels, or social media widgets. Its application code does not set cookies. Your browser may keep history and cached files. You can clear them in your browser settings.
Support email, sharing, and retention
If you contact us, we receive your email address, message, and attachments. We use them to reply and investigate your report. Your email provider and ours also process the message.
We do not sell or rent personal information. The site does not keep generator state. Service providers keep technical logs under their own policies. We keep support email until we resolve the request or meet legal and security duties.
Your choices and privacy rights
You can clear browser history and cached files in your browser settings. You can choose whether to use the copy button, external links, or support email.
Privacy rights depend on where you live. You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold. The site usually has no account or saved generator data to retrieve. To ask about a support message, email support@randompokemongenerator.art.
Children and sensitive information
This general-audience fan tool does not offer child accounts. It does not ask for age, precise location, or identity documents.
Do not send passwords, payment information, government identifiers, medical information, or other sensitive data in a support email. If you believe a child sent personal information, contact us. We will review the message and delete it when appropriate.
Security, policy changes, and contact
No website or provider can guarantee complete security. This site limits accounts and stored generator data. Third-party requests and email still carry standard internet risks.
We update this policy when our data practices, providers, or site features change. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
We run Random Pokémon Generator as an independent fan project. For privacy questions or requests, email support@randompokemongenerator.art or use the contact page.
